Diversified Underground is a DBE-certified underground construction and utility location company that offers a full range of underground construction, including utility locating and utility potholing services. We currently perform work anywhere in the state of Colorado, as well as surrounding states.

Underground Construction

Diversified Underground can perform a broad range of underground construction. With our various sized drills, we are able to install products ranging from ¼" to 24" in diameter. Our trenchers allow us to open a trench to a depth of 60".

Our past projects include:

• Installation of Comcast fiber optics and coax cable
• Qwest copper and conduit installation
• Water and sewer mains and services throughout Colorado
• Irrigation sleeves at all major subdivisions throughout the Denver metro area
• Installation of communications conduits across DIA runways and taxiways
• Work directly for several cities within Colorado, including City of Denver, City of Aurora, City of Westminster, plus several others
• Projects at various federal installations — the Denver Federal Center, Buckley Air Force Base, and the Air Force Academy, for example — as well as several others

Utility Locating

Diversified Underground's staff has more than thirty years' experience in the identification of underground utilities. We offer our services to contracting, engineering, and survey firms, as well as to the homeowner.

Our past projects include:

• Work directly for several of the major engineering and surveying companies that design water distribution
• Contract with the City of Denver to locate all utilities within Denver International Airport
• Locate all fiber optics owned and maintained by Brighton County school district

Utility Potholing

With our trailer mounted Hydro-Vacuum systems, we are able to get into the tightest of locations in order to pothole any utility that you require.

Our past projects include:

• Pothole existing utilities prior to new construction within Denver International Airport
• Hydro-Vacuum trench excavating within Philips petroleum plant for new electric during new tank construction
• Utility potholing for several major construction companies throughout Colorado
• Utility potholing at the Air Force Academy
